THE BED OF BLOOD

And after the crazy day 's departure
They in hundreds boldly came
They came in that ferocious evening
The mysterious surroundings_
Nobody seen toiling on the road
Doors and windows remained shuttered
Shuttered for days after days
The lonely road and streets
Seems to be waiting eagerly for
For steps of human not of terrorists
Toiling here and there accomplished with arms!
We the people fear haunted were shivering
Something unwanted terrible would
happen certainly!
Something was proceeding to make ours heaven
Death Valley!
' Shall we be Mommy of Egypt, '
Murmured she newlywed groom.
' No we will be only dead bodies '—
Reply came and in such a terrific
Moment,
They came in that thundering
Anxious Bloodshedding moment!
They uttered not a single world
Nor raised voices in dazzling slogans
They hadn't sharp igniting weapons,
Only red flags were dancing
Only red caps were glittering
Upon hundreds heads with pride.
The valley was shivering
The alive were shivering
They were walking as if with a faith
'We shall overcome' all the dangers
They were the peace promiser youth,
And their Captain looking like the
Gladiator Spartacus of the present.
Just like a gentle breeze from the hill
Soothing refreshing touch of faith and life
Surrounded each and everything in that evening.
Then came that day election, a tearing day,
The Satans were dancing to kill Democracy
And time came after all
He was alone in a polling both,
All the enemies surrounded him
Attacked him, the Abhimanyu of the day,
Tried his best, loudly cried for help
To the Security Force in vain.
Nobody came to save him.
The Polling Officer ran out
With the Ballot Box hurriedly
His white shirt become decorated
with blood.
At last the captain laid down
On the bloody bed as he had no more
blood to shade,
And a black crow sang farewell song alone:
Long live Comrade!
